Blue Nomad's WordSmith Named Best Doc Editor/Viewer and BackupBuddy Named Best Utility by Handheld Computing Magazine
Redwood City, California (May 9, 2001). Handheld Computing Magazine awarded two of Blue Nomad's products with prestigious Best Products of 2000 Awards. Blue Nomad's WordSmith, the first real word processor for the Palm OS(R), was named Best Doc Editor/Viewer. In addition, BackupBuddy, the only Palm Powered(R) Compatible backup solution, was awarded Best Utility for the second year in a row. Blue Nomad was the only software developer to win two Best Products of 2000 Awards.

In addition, its unprecedented support for the Palm(R) Portable and Stowaway(R) keyboards makes inputting text into your organizer easier and faster than ever. WordSmith is fully compatible with Microsoft Word and includes a bi-directional synchronization conduit for Windows and the Mac OS. WordSmith is also compatible with any word processor capable of reading and writing "RTF" files. Lastly, for Linux users, WordSmith includes a command-line converter for document conversion.
BackupBuddy is the only Palm Powered(R) Compatible backup application that allows Palm users to effortlessly back up their files to their desktop computer. BackupBuddy for Windows features the ability to mirror backup files to a network file server or local directory outside of the Palm desktop installation directory, call an external program or script to process backup directory contents after a HotSync operation completes, automatically schedule HotSyncs, beam Palm files and more.
