Mobile Internet Commerce delivered 'in a box' to business
MPP Global Solutions has unveiled AirFusion - a highly innovative solution which instantly gives businesses their own branded mobile internet commerce portal.
AirFusion offers UK businesses comprehensive mobile commerce facilities, including one to one marketing opportunities using SMS and WAP applications, and a full range of functions designed to predict, stimulate, and retain customers with innovative 'sticky' features.
The technology is available in two models; mASP whereby MPP Global Solutions host and run the service, undertaking any required bespoke development and mDeveloper whereby the subscribing business hosts and runs the software on their own servers and manage content whilst MPP provide bespoke development and support. mASP is available on a per user basis and for mDeveloper, a software licence agreement applies.

AirFusion uses a scaleable, flexible 3 tier component based architecture which enables participating businesses to manage their system independently using a web based management console. The technology is designed to be totally flexible to allow ease of upgrade and bespoke development in addition to full integration with 3rd party systems.
A range of applications is offered including pocket shop, gift shop and customer and product matching - a unique mobile internet shopping service which has been developed by MPP Global and is used within its b2c service, www.mypocketpal.com.
The AirFusion solution also provides calendar and contacts functionality which offers synchronisation with Microsoft Outlook.
The facility to offer SMS event reminders and WAP bookmarks is provided and each system can be individually tailored to issue timely prompts and reminders for key dates. AirFusion also offers WAP email facilities, an SMS messaging engine and the ability to log and track orders.

Using secure payment technology developed for mypocketpal.com, MPP Global Solutions' 'm-wallet' ensures that payment details are never transferred through the mobile device. Instead, payment data is held on a secure server using 128 bit secure data encryption. Payment for any transactions can only be authorised when the buyer authenticates their request using a unique PIN number.
Development is already underway to develop the AirFusion technology for future applications to include GPRS and 3rd generation technology.
